British biographical drama about the early life of Welsh actor Richard Burton and his relationship with his mentor Philip Burton. It stars Harry Lawtey as Richard, alongside Toby Jones and Lesley Manville. The reviews describe it as “genuinely heart-warming, uplifting and quietly emotional.”
On Friday 26th June it will be The Penguin Lessons (2024)
Based on the best-selling 2015 memoir by a former teacher, who becomes politically aware after he adopts a penguin during a cataclysmic period in Argentine history. Directed by Peter Cattaneo [The Full Monty] and starring Steve Coogan and Jonathan Pryce. It’s a poignant true-story heart warmer, “elevated by a winning performance from Coogan, with a little help from a lovable pint-sized companion.”
