Badby Parish
Badby is a rural village in beautiful surroundings, which are much valued by its residents and by visitors. It is situated about two miles south of Daventry and 14 miles west of Northampton, on the A361 Daventry to Banbury road which still follows the route of the Lutterworth-Daventry-Banbury turnpike as approved in 1765.
The present population is 701 according to the 2021 Census. The village has a range of community facilities including a primary school, village hall, parish church, United Reformed Chapel, pub, shop, a play area for under-5s and a playing field.

Badby Parish Appraisal 2000 is the result of a community project in 1991-1993 designed to record the origins of the Parish of Badby, aspects of village life and expectations for the future. It contains historical, geographical and ecological information about the village and its surrounds.
