Badby and Fawsley Women’s Institute is part of the Northamptonshire Federation and was first formed in 1918. In 2018 we celebrated our centenary with a special meeting and the Archives group produced a booklet “Recollections of first hundred years ” which was given to all members and past members. Today we have over 50 members drawn from not only Badby and Fawsley but from a number of other villages around the area.
We are a very welcoming and fun loving group of ladies who meet in Badby Village hall at 7:30pm on the second Thursday of each month.
The full programme for our meetings can be found on this page, on the WI notice board in Badby Village hall and each month in the Link. New members and guests are always welcome and/or if you would like a friendly face to come with you to our meetings please contact any of the committee (see below).
We have monthly skittles sessions, organise lunches, walks, garden visits, outings and theatre trips and have a knitting group as well as an evening and afternoon book club.
