I am a retired headteacher and local authority education officer.  I have lived in Badby for 30 years and was a governor of Badby Primary School for 8 years.  In my retirement, I am a governor at Billing Brook Special School in Northampton and a Member of the Board of Trustees at InMAT Multi-Academy Trust (the Trust runs 11 schools).  I volunteer weekly at Grafton Riding for the Disabled and I am a member of Daventry Constituency Labour Party.  I am also a Bronze Patron of the Royal Shakespeare Company, which is my great passion.

I have lived in Badby for 29 years, my three children grew up here and went to Badby School. I have volunteered in the past as a governor at Badby School, on the Village Hall committee and for the PCC.  In terms of my work, I have always had roles working for housing associations and recently managed a charity for children and young people in London. It is a privilege to be a Parish Councillor and to be able to support our beautiful village and community.

Responsibilities:  Roads and Verges, Trees and Greens

I have lived in Badby for some 10 years now, having moved here with my wife Christine.  I became closely involved with the community as a Parish Councillor 7 years ago and was Caretaker at Badby School until my recent retirement.

In my spare time I enjoy caravanning, both in the UK and abroad.  My interests include anything to do with cars, motorcycles and off-roading.

Catherine Martin (Vice Chair)

Address: Stoneway, Badby

Responsibilities:  Planning, Finance

I moved into Badby with my partner in 2020 and we have started our family here.  We love the village and the community and I was keen to join the Parish Council to make a contribution back after the welcome we received.

I am a renewable energy developer, helping the transition to clean energy in the future.  Outside of work and family I love dancing.

Angela Murphy

Address: The Green, Badby

Neville Snell
Neville SnellAddress: Bunkers Hill, Badby

Responsibilities:  Planning

I have lived in the village for just over 13 years and have served on Badby Parish Council for the last seven. I run my own consultancy business dealing with large national businesses helping them improve profit through organisational efficiencies. I live with my partner Maddie, four children who come and go (normally when they are hungry, broke or bored), our dog Dave, eight chickens and one very unsociable cat.

We moved to Bunkers Hill when we fell in love with the village and always planned to extend the bungalow, which we started two years ago and look to finish this summer. I joined the Parish Council as I believe that if you want to continue to enjoy where you live, you should contribute to your community in whatever way you can. Balancing running a business, family, social life, holidays and my work with the Parish Council and other activities, is a continual challenge, but I feel it’s worth the effort.

My hope for the future is that the people of Badby continue to enjoy the village and the surrounding area and that the community sprit grows, enhancing what is already a great place to live.
