All meetings start at 7:30 in Badby Village Hall unless otherwise stated.
April 19th : Gary Bell : My Preposterous Life by our local KC .
May 14th : Richard Piner : Flora and Fauna around Badby, highlighting the wonders of our locality.
June 11th : Emma Pettit : Dance for Fitness and Fun. Learn some easy moves, join in or have fun watching the show.
July 9th : Our Summer Event
August 13th : The Brave Marauders : Our Sailing Heritage in Song. A musical presentation with historical insights.
September 10th : Kate Mawar: Practical Action. Discover how this charity helps developing communities to thrive in the face of climate change
October 8th : Pat Butler : The Back to Back homes of Birmingham. A slice of history from the 1840s to the 1970s.
November 12th : Jane Cobbett.: Christmas Card Making. Create a card with a new dimension.
December 1oth : Christmas Event
January 14th 2027 : David Peel : The Sense of Hearing. Everytthing you wanted to know about hearing but were afraid to ask.
February 11th : Deborah Burrow : An Introduction to the Art of Quilling. Use this papercraft techniques to make a gift tag..

Interest Groups
BAFTAS (Badby and Fawsley Treckers, Amblers and Strollers)
This group meets monthly in the morning on the 1st Tuesday of the month to take a variety of walks of differing distances and terrain but always culminating in light refreshments at the end.
Afternoon Book and Culture Club
They meet at various venues on the 4th Monday of the month from 2:00 – 4:00pm to discuss a book over tea and cake. The books are chosen by the group and cover a wide range of genres. Since the advent of Covid the Book Group has combined with Culture Club so they now also discuss the latest films, and TV programmes as well.
Evening Book Club
Meet on 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm to discuss a book chosen by the group.
Knit-Wits
Knit-Wits is a knit or crochet natter group creating items for various local charities. The group meets in the evening of the 4th Wednesday of the month. No experience is required , as members are more than happy to pass on their skills to anyone willing to learn. Needles and wool can be provided.
Skittles
The skittles players are always happy to see new members ready to chuck their cheeses. Friendly matches against other WI teams from around the area are orgnised on an ad hoc basis.. The emphasis is on fun and socialising, with no pressure to take part in matches unless you want to. They meet at the White Horse, Norton at midday on the 1st Thursday of the month for practice and a fish and chips lunch.
Lunches and Outings
Regular lunches and outings to local gardens and places of interest are arranged with details announced at the monthly meeting
