On Friday 29 April we will be holding our much-delayed Annual General Meeting, to be followed by a free screening (for members only) of Passport to Pimlico (1949) U cert. This black-&-white Ealing comedy classic recounts the tale of how residents of Pimlico in London declared independence when they discovered an old treaty. It stars Stanley Holloway, Hermione Baddeley & Margaret Rutherford and is being shown in memory of former Chairman and long term Committee member of the Society, Bill Dove, as it was one of his very favourite films.
