Are you free for an hour? In exchange for refreshments – tea, coffee, maybe even a FREE breakfast roll?
The Parish Council undertakes monthly programmes of work around the village (repairing verges, cutting back hedges, etc.) and is looking for additional volunteers. Just one hour of your time on one Sunday a month to help maintain our beautiful village is all we ask.
The next date is Sunday 24 April, meeting at 10 am at the Village Hall, when jobs will be allocated. Jobs this month may include:
Cemetery – clearing and cutting up undergrowth
Behind the Village Hall – clearing and cutting up undergrowth
Staining benches (weather permitting)
Levelling churned-up ground on The Green
Litter picking
Cleaning road signs
What could be better? Tea, coffee, food, friendship and fresh air!
