After lengthy and frustrating delays caused by Covid (as with everything!), new LED street lights were finally installed throughout the village during the course of yesterday and today, 12-13 July.
Inevitably things will look different than they did under the old lights, especially where these were the sodium (orange) type – mainly in The Glebe and Park Close – and it may take a little time to get used to them. However, the new lights will not only be cheaper to run, but are also more environment friendly and we hope that, overall, you will find them an improvement.
