and Friday 21st August: Sleuth (1972) : This celebrated thriller, adapted by Anthony Shaffer from his own hit stage play, stars Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine as a pair of scheming socialites who play elaborate psychological games against each other, with ever-deadlier consequences.
