Bells ringing –

A group of six London bellringers will be on the canal for a week starting off from Napton on Saturday 10 July will be ringing our bells that day from 2pm for around an hour.

The group act as a Covid secure bubble and regularly have canal boat holidays in this area. One of the members is wheelchair bound from which he safely and happily rings.  They are boating together from Wigram’s Turn, Southam and will ring at a few other towers en route.

Unfortunately most of the Badby ringers are away, so the bells will not be rung on Sunday or the following Wednesday.

It looks as if, after 19 July, we shall be able to invite anyone to come and watch and to have a go,  refresh their skills or start to train!
