The “parish works” working party will meet again this Sunday (weather permitting). Jobs will include rubbing down and re-treating the wooden benches, and cutting back growth from the tree-stump in front of the Old School House. If you are free for an hour or two, please meet at the Village Hall at 10 am. Tools will be provided, but by all means bring your own (e.g. secateurs, loppers, wire brushes and old paint brushes) as well as your own work gloves.
