Many thanks to everyone who joined today’s village working party and helped with clearing in the Churchyard and the Cemetery.
Although it was a cold morning, thankfully the rain held off and we soon warmed up once we got working. A good hour’s graft and several builders’ sacks worth of vegetation later, we felt we’d earned our bacon rolls and hot drinks – kindly provided by Sue, Helen and Katie at the Village Hall.
Now that the Covid restrictions are hopefully behind us, we plan to make the working party a regularly monthly event again. If you can spare an hour on a Sunday morning, why not come and join us next time? It’s fun, sociable and a great way to keep fit – and help keep Badby beautiful!
