Northamptonshire Carers supports unpaid carers who look after a family member, relative or neighbour on a regular basis and who couldn’t manage without that extra support. Many carers have been adversely affected by the pandemic but we have continued to offer our support in as many ways as possible during that time.
I am glad to share that our support groups are mostly now running face to face again (with some support still on Zoom), in particular:
Daventry Carers Café – meets on the 1st Thursday each month, a chance to meet other Carers whilst bringing the person they care for if they choose to. An opportunity to get info, advice and support, refreshments, and chat with other carers in your area
Horizons Group West, for former carers – a monthly meeting for carers who have recently lost a loved one and would like a little extra support over this difficult time
