As a mark of respect to The Queen, Badby Church have decided to postpone their Scarecrow Festival which was due to take place this Sunday.
“We know that many of you have been busy behind the scenes, making arrangements for the day and also making scarecrows. Thank you for your help. We hope to re-schedule the event in a few weeks’ time, once the period of mourning has ended.
Hopefully we will be able to confirm a new date within the next few days. We will let you know as soon as we can. So, please hold on to your scarecrows (or make one if you hadn’t quite got round to it!).
For those of you who had already put in your entries for the competition, we will be in touch to confirm whether you’d like your entrance fee refunded or are happy to transfer it to the new date.
