Unfortunately, the parish council is obliged to cancel the meeting scheduled for Monday 12 September. Following the sad news of the death of HM Queen Elizabeth and the commencement of a period of public mourning, the notice previously given for the meeting is no longer valid. Were the meeting to go ahead, any decisions taken could be open to legal challenge. A decision will be taken shortly whether to convene an extraordinary meeting at the earliest possible date, to deal with any pressing business.
