Update: Although the weather forecast for tomorrow morning doesn’t look great, we’re not cancelling the clean-up (not yet, at least!). Hopefully it will still be possible to do some more clearing in the Cemetery, and maybe shift some soil (mole hills in the playing field) to the Green, to fill in some holes. If you’re feeling up for it, please meet at the Village Hall at 10 am, and bring some loppers/secateurs if you have some. Hot drinks and snacks at the Village Hall afterwards!
The next village clean-up party is planned for Saturday 18 June. As some people have other commitments on a Sunday morning, it was decided to pick a Saturday this time, and to alternate between Saturday and Sunday in future.
If you can help, please meet at the Village Hall at 10 am, when tasks will be assigned. It should only take around an hour of your time, and refreshments will be available afterwards at the Village Hall. It’s a great way to meet people and enjoy helping keep Badby beautiful (and tidy!).
More details of the jobs to be done and anything you might need to bring will be agreed at the parish council meeting on Monday, and published early next week.
