The Village Hall is holding a fund-raising Race Night on Friday 13 October. Doors open at 6:45 for a 7:15 start. Tickets £17 each, including a fish & chips supper (vegetarian alternative available), and there will be a licensed bar and raffle. ‘Buy’ a horse for £3 to try for the winner’s prize, and come along and put bets on your favourites. A group of volunteers recently tidied up the courtyard and rear pathway to improve both the hall appearance and access for disabled users. We hope this will encourage more bookings as we can never have too many – contact Peter Cooper to enquire.
