Sunday 7 May, the day after the King’s Coronation Service, has been designated by the Palace as a day for street parties and celebrations. The Parish Council is proposing a bring-your-own picnic (and gazebo!) on the Green on the Sunday afternoon, with teas available in the Village Hall thanks to the ladies of the WI. More details will follow, but put the date in your diary now! With or without good weather, it promises to be a great afternoon.
