On Sunday 7 August 4-6pm, as part of our plans to manage the churchyard of St Mary’s in a way that encourages birds, insects, flowers and wildlife, we are planning a “come and help tidy up” working party. There are some cuttings and debris that need clearing, some weeding to be done, a compost bin to be made from pallets, and general tidying.
The party will be followed by a BBQ (sausages, salads and soft drinks provided, feel free to bring any other food or wine).
There will be a range of tasks, suitable for all ages and abilities, please bring your own gloves, secateurs, fork / trowel and kneeler.
