BFCC had their annual match versus The Crooked Hooker aka Northampton Saints RFC Academy side, on Sunday 14 July.
The weather decided to be kind and a crowd in the region of 80 people enjoyed a great afternoon’s cricket. For the first time BFCC were triumphant in a close match.
A fine BBQ and some superb ales and wine was enjoyed by the crowd. They will be trying hard next year to regain the trophy.
The Sunday afternoon fixtures for August 2024 will be:
- 4 Northampton Eaglets at Longroods
- 11 Eydon away
- 18 SNCC at Longroods
- 25 Harry’s Heroes at Longroods
The VI [Visually Impaired] Steelbacks games are scheduled to start on the Longroods field at 1pm, playing Sussex on Saturday 3 and London on 17 August.
