Badby Bells & BBQ
The barbecue was a great success and a good celebration of the work done on our bells to ensure their future use. We are all grateful to Sue and Neil Berry for their generosity in hosting this in their garden. It wasn’t specifically a fundraiser, but it did raise some money for the Church and was an excellent day for the village.
Coffee Morning
Our next coffee morning will be in St. Mary’s on Tuesday 18 August from 10.30am to noon. All are, as usual, very welcome. The church draw will be made.
Ride, Stride and Drive
Ride, Stride & Drive, as it is called this year, is on Saturday 12 September between 10am and 6pm. Get sponsorship to visit as many participating churches as you can whilst enjoying the beautiful countryside. Half your sponsorship goes to Northamptonshire Historic Churches Trust and the rest to your nominated church, hopefully Badby. Forms can be obtained from Chris Richards, Meadow View, Bunkers Hill Badby. Don’t delay – get planning and practising.
