Villagers are reminded that there is no parking on the greens – including half on greens, half on roads. This has been happening at a few locations in the village recently. The roads across the greens and hard surface areas on the greens come within the definition of “greens” – so no parking. Obviously there is leeway for contractors doing jobs who are only going to be there for a few hours maybe (ie oil delivery, window cleaners etc). The general idea is to keep the greens free of cars so the very special views across the village are not interrupted.
