The site of fallen tree by the playing field is gradually being cleared and made safe. However, it has been reported to me as Police Liaison rep that, this afternoon, local teenagers were throwing debris from the site down the bank and on to the road below – the back road to Everdon where it is very overshadowed. Clearly this could potentially have caused a serious accident. We do not wish to discourage young people from going up there, as the nearby BMX track is an amenity for them to enjoy, but it would be appreciated if they would leave the piles of logs and branches where they are – and certainly not throw them on to the road.
