The annual Scarecrow Festival is from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 September. Scarecrows entries can be any shape or size, and the voluntary theme is “Save our Planet – what would you save first if it was becoming endangered?” and be pre-paid (details later). Scarecrows should pop up on Friday or Saturday morning for judging with prize-winners announced on Sunday 11 September.
More events will run on that Sunday from 1pm to 4.30pm, with a fun dog show, stalls including locally grown plants, horticultural show, teas and refreshments.
