West Northants Covid Support Fund 2020-21

West Northamptonshire Council recognises that the Covid pandemic has had a huge impact on local community and voluntary organisations who rely on small grant awards to remain sustainable.

The Council has therefore set up a Councillor Covid Support Fund to help local communities recover from the impact of Covid during the remainder of the 2021-22 financial year.  Grants are available to voluntary and community groups (not individuals or town and parish councils).

Each Councillor has been allocated £2,500 to make local decisions on grant funding awards for the benefit of the communities’ they represent.  The grant must be used within the electoral ward of the Councillor, to empower local residents to be active in their communities’ recovery from the impact of Covid.

The Woodford and Weedon Ward has three Councillors, therefore the potential pot available in the ward is up to £7,500.  To find out more, go to:

Although Badby Parish Council is not eligible directly for a grant, we will be happy to help facilitate applications by local voluntary and community groups.

NB:  Grants must be disbursed during the current financial year i.e. before 31 March 2022, therefore please act promptly if you are considering applying.
