Following the resignation of Peter Collins, the parish council has a casual vacancy. The way it works is, the public have 14 days in which to request an election to fill the vacancy. If there is no such request at the end of that period i.e. by 5 April, West Northants Council will give the parish council permission to fill the vacancy by co-option.
