St. Mary’s Church Badby News

Teas in Church during Open Gardens
While you are visiting the four open gardens on Sunday 17 May, St. Mary’s will be offering tea and home-made cake in the church from 1pm to 5pm.  Come to refresh yourself before the next garden!
Coffee morning
We look forward to seeing coffee and tea drinkers at St. Mary’s on Tuesday 19 May from 10.30am till noon.  Freshly made coffee, tea and cakes, and a chance to witness the monthly draw.
Badby Bells & BBQ
A barbecue will be held on Sunday 28 June in the churchyard, to celebrate the return of our bells. The barbecue, to include chicken, steak burger and sausage, with salad, cheese and home-made puddings, will cost £20 a head. St. Mary’s is a lovely setting for a parish barbecue and we look forward to seeing you there.  Food will be served from 1pm and the bells will be rung intermittently.  You are free to bring your own drink and glasses but everything else will be provided.  Email judyjordan27@gmail.com for tickets. There will be intermittent bellringing, displays and exhibits in the church, tours up the tower and have a go sessions for all the family.
Badby Fayre
Planning has begun for the event on Sunday, 13 September which will include a new annual show and fun dog show. Anyone willing to bring or run a stall, children’s games, help with parking etc will be most welcome to contact Churchwardens Judy and Frances.
