Badby’s annual Scarecrow Festival will take place on Sunday 14 September. This year’s theme is “my favourite hobby/pastime”, and everyone is invited to walk round the village to see what our neighbours have created. On The Green from 1 – 5 pm there will be the Fun Dog Show, live music and many other stalls. Tea and cake will be available from 1pm in the village hall. All are welcome to come and join in with the fun!
The bottle collection for the bottle tombola will take place on Saturday 6 September. Please put out your donation before 10am. Advance notice to johind@talktalk.net would be appreciated.
The Horticultural Society will be hosting a table outside the village hall with any home grown produce, fruit, vegetables etc.. at the Scarecrow Festival & Fayre this year. Any donations from jam, chutney, jelly makers would be very gratefully received. Please contact Sophie on 07866 428 650 or bring along on the day.
