Following on from the Summer Badby Parish Newsletter we would like to update you on progress so far. Having cleared the scrub area at the playing field we are currently treating the ground in readiness for tree planting. This is where we now call upon the Amnesty trees that we hope you all have been taking under your wing. In addition to Amnesty trees, we have been approached by a number of people from within the village wishing to plant Family trees these being some 1.75 – 2.0 metre saplings which is a great bonus to the project.
We will start tree planting in the very near future therefore if you would like to talk with us about handing over your amnesty trees or donation of a family tree, please do not hesitate to contact us as soon as possible.
Please remember we are planting Native British trees only.
