WNC are in the process of developing a new Local Plan for West Northamptonshire which will bring together the two existing Local Plans for Daventry and South Northants. As part of this plan a new settlement hierarchy will be required, as Daventry and South Northants previously took slightly different approaches for smaller settlements in rural areas. WNC are seeking parish councils’ views initially, although there will also be a public consultation – expected in April/May.
The Parish Council would appreciate any views that residents may have, as this review could impact on the future shape and boundaries of the parish. The questions include:
What needs does Badby have over the next 15 years?
Do you think Badby has the right mix and amount of housing and employment?
Should any changes be made to the settlement confines boundary?
