A one-minute silence will be held at 8 pm on Sunday 18 September 2022, the day before the Queen’s Funeral.
The Prime Minister’s office said: “The silence can be marked privately at home on your own or with friends and neighbours, out on your doorstep or street, or at locally arranged community events and vigils .. The shared national moment of reflection is an opportunity for everyone across the UK to mark the death of Her Majesty and we will set out details of where the prime minister will mark it closer to that time.”
In Badby the start of the one-minute silence will be signalled by the chiming of the Church clock, and the end will be marked by a single toll of the tenor bell.
The book of condolence in Church will remain open until the close of the day on Tuesday 20 September. The Church is open between 10 am and 4 pm.
