As we all know, Badby is haven for a dog lovers, and the Parish Council makes efforts to ensure sufficient dog waste bins are available around the village and to replace these when they start to show their age e.g. the one at the entrance to Nene Side Close and, most recently, on the Playing Field.
Unfortunately not all dog owners act responsibly. One resident, when tackled recently about not picking up after their dog, stated that, as wild animals foul without anyone picking up their waste, they did not see any reason why they should pick up their dog’s waste and place it in one of the the many bins provided.
Not only is there a substantial fine for such behaviour, but do we really want this happening in our lovely village we call home?
