Over the last few weeks the Council has :
- Altered the cutting regime on the greens to improve their appearance after a challenging Spring
- Fitted a new handrail running the length of the cemetery and improved the water supply
- Carried out remedial work to the trees in the picnic area
- Crowned one of the big horse chestnuts and removed the large willow tree on Stoneway
- Ordered new goalposts for the cricket field
- Approved an advisory 20 mph speed limit through the village (awaiting delivery of the signs)
- Welcomed Paul Hymers, our new clerk.
We have had one resignation from the Parish Council, creating a vacancy.
Many thanks to Steve Chandler for his many contributions as a Parish Councillor, particularly as Chair.
There will be no Parish Council meeting in August.
