Badby Bells

On Sunday afternoon 1 June Susan Rose rang her first quarter peal, the treble to Plain Bob Doubles. Well done!

After practice on Wednesday 11 June, the ropes were removed ready for the bells to be lowered in the tower This all happened on time thanks to bellhanger Neil Deem working our volunteers hard: Martyn Parratt, Steve Brooks, Peter Johnson, Martin Walton and Anne Prestwick (a ringer from Nether Heyford). See progress reports on the parish website https://badby-pc.gov.uk/category/news/. With the bells gone the clock can’t chime again till they are back in September. In the meantime Badby ringing practices are continuing at a different tower each Wednesday evening.
