David Pountney’s film version of English National Opera’s stage production of Rusalka is a fairy tale about a mermaid blessed with immortality who risks everything for love. It stars Eilene Hannan and Ann Howard, with ENO’s orchestra and chorus conducted by Mark Elder. The aria Song to the Moon is one of the most popular arias in all opera. [159 mins, Exempt cert.]
Saturday 28th November: The Brutalist (2024)
