The films for April being screened at Badby Village Hall include another in the ‘Supper at the Opera’ series on Saturday 18th April as well as the usual film at the end of the month.
Saturday 15th April : Supper at the Opera – Offenbach’s Orphée aux Enfers (Orpheus in the Underworld) (1997, 123 mins) Marc Minkowski & Laurent Pelly’s highly-acclaimed stage version of this comic operetta, with men dancing in tutus; stars Natalie Dessay; production Opéra National de Lyon; “Really Good Fun in a modernish setting”.
