On the Sunday following VE Day i.e. 11 May, Badby Church will be holding a special service of thanksgiving at 11 am to mark the end of the Second World War in Europe. After the service we will be celebrating with a picnic and live music [Field Jammers], in the Churchyard (or in the Church if the weather is awful – let’s hope not).
Please bring your own picnic, drinks, chairs and gazebo if you wish, and join in the fun! This will be a Badby community event for everyone, so no entrance fee and no ticket required. Any offers of help to put up gazebos and bunting will be gratefully received!
