REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY
Susan Rose will lead a service of Remembrance on Sunday 10 November at 11 am. Help us commemorate, by the lighting of candles and reading of names, the 23 from this parish who gave their lives in two World Wars. This year we will be thinking especially of the D-Day landings 80 years ago and re-visiting the story of Lord Lovat and his piper, Bill Millin. Please join us to help remember, “lest we forget”. There will be a retiring collection for the Royal British Legion.HARVEST FESTIVALVery many thanks to everyone who helped with our Harvest Festival celebration last month, in particular to the flower arrangers for the fabulous display, to Susan for putting together a very thoughtful service, to our bell ringers for making a joyful noise, and to everyone who brought along their contributions which were very gratefully received by the Daventry Food Bank.COFFEE MORNINGOur monthly coffee morning will be held in St. Mary’s on Tuesday 19th November, from 10.30am till noon.
